About Me
My name is Thomas Ackerman. I’m the author of this page, although obviously it is greatly inspired by the book by Rod Dreyer. I am a Bible-believing born again Jewish believer, doing my best to walk in faith. I have been calling the Church to repentance and to holiness through my group Holiness of the Bride which began in 2013, when I formerly worked in ministry.
Although I was pleased to work in ministry and serve others in that position, I was forced to leave after several years, due to being the person who says those unpopular things from the Bible, which no one likes to hear anymore. The biblical truth sadly makes Christians very upset. In a sense, I have returned to ministry recently, as I am back in teaching, which I had already done for a decade of my life years ago. It is naturally a Christian academy, and I hope to make a difference spiritually and educationally, both to the students and also to the school, as a Christian institution. It is possible in the long run they will ask me to leave as well, but presently there are no signs that they will.
Most of what I communicate through my personal ministry is nothing less than biblical teachings alongside common sense traditions which most Christians held to for many centuries. I am not that inventive. I put very little of myself into my teachings and other ideas. I rest on the Word of God, and on the pious believers throughout the ages who set good examples for us of the Christian life.
In all my ministries, I seek to encourage Christians to live fully in their faith, to REALLY believe every day and to REALLY seek to obey God in all things, even though we know we miss the mark sometimes. As far as Go Benedict Now, I simply hope for this page to be a presence which can inspire repentance in the Church, and protect it from the strong winds of liberalism and secularism, which have wrecked so much of it. I would like to see our readers support some of the groups I mention in the materials here, as well as found their own groups which will help in restoring the Church.
The time for talk is over. And talk is cheap. We need men of action who will work without fear, diligently. Let us work together in this way. Be brave. Carry the cross. Honor the captain of our salvation through our constant unified labors.
